ET. Harv Eker is an author, businessman and mentor, life coach, motivational speaker known for his theories on wealth and motivation and the author of the book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind. Harv Eker has produced seminars since 2001, he teach people how to get rich, he explains to most important thing to get rich is to change our mind our subconscious to think like rich people. In order to get rich, we need to make a habits of controlling our money, and when we control money we also get power to control our life. Harv invented simplest, easiest and most effective money management system which is called jar system. The most important part of money managing is separating your income into different accounts for specific purposes. PeakMoney outline the various accounts for the JARS system as well as their percentage breakdown of how one should divide their money to manage.

Challenge

Since finance apps can be a bit complicated, first time users may find their experience using the app a bit confusing. We had taken this problem into account, therefore we had implemented “how to” guides that are presented to the user when they use the app for the first time as well as made them readily accessible from the tab bar menu. Complex algorithms are involved behind the scenes, which we had tested the app extensively to make sure the way every transaction affects the final balance is calculated correctly.

Outcome

A app with a neat, modern yet simple design that provides the user with a selection of icons to allow ease of identification of each transaction and jar. We’ve had excellent feedback from our PeakMoney users that they have managed to save a lot with our app, as well as prioritised their expenditure with budget control!
